If Obamacare Stands, You Really Need The NEWSS

by Michael D. Hume, M.S.

The American economy is like a patient with a horrible ailment – it’s had a trillion-dollar medical “reform” shoved down its throat. The patient, plagued by plenty of illnesses before Obamacare, might have survived anyway; but now, the prognosis is pretty bleak.

There are plenty of reasons about two-thirds of Americans want Obamacare repealed. It was rammed through with dubious parliamentary trickery. Despite being billed as a cost reduction, the legislation actually bloats government spending and will drive tax rates through the roof. It’s dishonest: despite promises to the contrary issued by lawmakers who didn’t have time to read the bill before passing it, Obamacare contains many nasty surprises, including federal funding for abortion. As I discussed in a previous article, it is already causing a dangerous doctor shortage. In short, it isn’t about “health care reform,” it turns out to be all about government revenue and power.

Consider that it isn’t just talented doctors who’ll be de-motivated out of existence. From pharmaceuticals to medical devices to surgical procedures, all sorts of new cures will not be discovered that otherwise would’ve been. Why? Because, like all other forms of socialism, Obamacare eliminates the profit motive.

I have a brilliant young niece of whom I’m very proud. She could take her pick of careers, and any university or academy will be thrilled to land her. Last I heard, she was considering a course of study and career in biomedical engineering. She’d be creating new technologies, new medical devices to solve some of the trickiest health problems.

Now, time was, smart kids like my niece would be willing to take on such big challenges when they could be playing soccer or thinking about dating instead. But they’d endure the tough study, the all-nighters in the lab, all the dues-paying… because they’d have a chance to help a lot of people and get RICH doing it.

She might still go into bio-med, but, as she is brilliant, I wouldn’t bet on it. All bio-med engineers will eventually be working for the government, if this legislative monstrosity is left to stand. They’ll make the standard rate that a GS-whatever makes. And unless they invest money in something completely unrelated, they’ll never get rich.

Again, how motivated is a person who punches a clock, compared with someone who can dream of a better life? The difference is like night-and-day… or, if you will, like Soviet MASH-style meatball medicine and American health care of years gone by. It turns out the profit motive… the opportunity… the chance to strike it big… these are the things that made our medical system the greatest the world has ever known.

That was before Obamacare.

I’m not saying the system was perfect before. Far from it. I mean, look at how out-of-whack pharmaceuticals had become. New diseases from Restless Leg Syndrome to Acid Reflux suddenly bloomed under the marketing of designer drugs with often-horrific side effects. But there were free-market solutions that could’ve improved the world’s greatest medical system without throwing the proverbial baby out with the bathwater. Natural solutions were already competing effectively with dubious prescription drugs. But what will happen to the better solutions when smart people are no longer profit-motivated to create them?

The looming brain drain is only one of the scary aspects of our new “health care reform.” It’s only one reason your health habits matter, and you need to take personal responsibility for your own vitality now so that you might be less dependent on government medicine in the future. Start with the five key daily habits I call The NEWSS: Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sleep, and Supplements. Eat fresh foods and stop eating processed crap. Exercise at least five times a week, getting your heart rate up for at least 15 minutes. Drink two liters of water every day. Get eight hours of sleep. And take a good multi-vitamin (I recommend an easily-absorbed liquid nutraceutical).

Since this dumbed-down system is going to actually cost you much more on your tax bill, you might want to move now to protect your financial health, too. Start a business on the side to create a protected revenue stream from which you can’t be laid off. And get smart about the global conspiracy against wealth.

It’s hard to believe our great medical system has become like a patient on life support. Unless we can reverse it, Obamacare will put the patient to sleep. That’s why you have to wake up now, and take personal responsibility for your own vitality.

Government Needs To Change Its Own Health Habits

Obamacare is, at bottom, a wild spending spree. It’s a government land-grab. It’s a transfer of a sixth of the U.S. economy from the job-creating private sector to the wealth-destroying public sector. In a metaphoric sense, Obamacare (having been rammed down the patient’s throat with dubious legislative procedures) is like a cancer on our economy. It’s a glut of carcinogenic taxes and spending, the likes of which have made our government fat, slow, and stupid….

So You Want To Make Money Writing Articles?

Edit Article |

Posted: Nov 25, 2010 |

]]>

Well who doesn’t? Writing articles won’t make you into a millionaire overnight, or at all for that matter, but it’s a good way to put a little extra cash into your pocket at the end of the month. One word of caution though; there are tons of other people who are thinking just like you, and why not? Anyone can make money writing articles regardless of their academic background, once they have the skill and the writing talent. That’s not to say that it’s an easy market to break into. One of the biggest mistakes many people make is assuming that just because they want something it means that they’re going to get it. As with any endeavour, you’re not going to make money writing articles unless you’re willing to put in the work.

Would you hire someone who has no credentials and who can offer no proof of the talents they claim to have? I don’t know about you but I certainly wouldn’t, and neither will the legitimate buyers who actually have the higher paying jobs. If you want to make money writing articles then you’re going to have to make something of a name for yourself first. Don’t worry; you can do this without spending a cent. The key is to generate as many high quality samples of your writing as you possibly can.

One thing that you’ll read about in a lot of article marketing e-books is the importance of keywords and micro-niches. If you’re looking to spend your career writing about herbal supplements then by all means stick to producing only health related sample articles. Otherwise, try to be a bit broad with your range of topics. You don’t want potential buyers to think that you can only write about one thing. What about keywords? Are they important? Definitely, because many buyers will have a particular keyword density that they require and they’re more likely to hire someone who is familiar with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles. Don’t be scared. This simply means that you:

Keep paragraphs short
Use keywords in the title, first line and last line (if possible)
Include sub-headings
Break up blocks of text with bullet points where possible
Don’t stuff keywords (they should ideally not appear more than twice per hundred words)

The next step is getting your articles seen, and that’s what article directories are for. You do need to be careful about this though. Let’s say you have ten really great articles. Do you use submission software to automatically submit to hundreds of directories, or do you pick a few high quality article directories and manually submit? Link builders typically choose the first method, but that’s not what you’re about. You’re out to prove your mettle, and it’s better to do so by submitting your articles to a few high quality article directories where human editors go through each body of work to determine whether it’s suitable for inclusion. That way you’ll have a URL with multiple samples to point prospective buyers towards.

Where are those elusive prospective buyers though? They’re everywhere, but if you’re just now starting out, chances are the ones who are willing to pay a premium price won’t be interested in you as yet. A good way for novices to make money writing articles is through bidding sites such as Freelancer.com. Be warned, as with most things, there’s both a good and a bad side to these. Let’s take a closer look, starting with the not-so-good stuff.

Foreign Competition: The foreign exchange rate in many countries, especially Asian regions, makes it possible for these bidders to quote very low prices. While some buyers are more interested in quality, many with bulk jobs will be tempted by what appears to be an inexpensive service.
Limited Clients: Big budget magazines don’t use bidding sites. You’ll more often than not end up working for someone who is outsourcing a job they’ve been awarded off the site. As such, it’s rare to come across anyone willing to pay more than .01 per word.
Time Consuming: Some bidding sites are huge and can have a couple hundred jobs open at a time. Only a tiny fraction of these might be worth your while, and it takes time to wade through all the unsuitable options.
Cost: Some bidding sites, such as the aforementioned Freelancer.com, are free to join. Others may have a free option but you will have to pay in order to enjoy the full functionality of the site. In most cases, a commission of between 5 to 10% is deducted from any bids won.

That’s a lot of negatives. If all of these things are true then why bother to use bidding sites at all? Well some people don’t, and you don’t have to either. You could post your portfolio online, market yourself on social networking sites and apply for writing gigs on sites such as Craigslist. You should probably do all of those things anyway, but you can’t overlook the fact that bidding sites do have some advantages.

Good Starting Point: Many bidding sites will have specific trial jobs designed for newcomers. The buyers who post these tend to be more interested in price than credentials so it’s fairly easy to land that first job if you have some quality samples, and you’re willing to accept very low fees initially.
Escrow: It’s a sad fact that there are many unscrupulous people out there who are more than willing to let you do the hard work and then disappear without paying you a cent. With an escrow service, the buyer must load the funds into an account before the job begins. This can only be released by the buyer, but it cannot be returned to him unless the writer gives the okay.
Dispute Resolution: In most cases, the only contact you’ll have with a buyer is through emails, and occasionally through instant messaging programs. This can make it very easy for misunderstandings to arise. Bidding sites will often step in, if a request is made, in order to sort out the dispute.
Feedback: A lot of people put great emphasis on testimonials. The problem is that anyone can write one and attach a fake name to it. Bidding sites allow both the buyer and the writer to post feedback about each other once the job has been completed. Both must be legitimate users of the site so viewers know that any comments written are valid. Having a lot of good feedback can be the best recommendation you can get.

It can be hard to make money writing articles if you can’t find a way to stand out from the crowd, and there can be quite a crowd looking to get their foot in the door. Whether you elect to start off on a bidding site, or you’d rather peruse job boards, there are a few things that may seem obvious but you still need to keep them in mind.

Each client is different and, as such, has different needs. Read through the job posting carefully so you can determine exactly what the buyer is looking for and whether you can actually provide it.
You may be bidding on a lot of jobs at the same time. It might seem easier to cut and paste your response than generate a new one each time, but that would be a huge mistake. Buyers on bidding sites can often go to your profile and see what you’ve bid on, so they’ll know if you’ve been paying attention or just going after everything that seems even vaguely interesting.
Buyers will request a sample before they even consider hiring you. Don’t submit just one sample. Instead, send the link to your article page in a sought-after directory such as EzineArticles. Even so, expect to be asked to write a sample paragraph, especially if you don’t already have any pieces on that particular topic.
Be honest about your capabilities. Don’t chase after the job by saying you can do something that you know fully well you’re not going to have the time for. You’ll either end up not completing the project or submitting sub-standard work, neither of which is likely to get you good reviews.
It’s up to you to decide how much you’re worth, but please be reasonable. No one is asking you to accept .50 per article. You’re free to do that if your aim in the beginning is to accumulate feedback, but it’s not a necessity. On the other hand, no one is going to pay a novice for a 500 word article. If your credentials and samples are excellent, you may be able to start off in the to range.

One step you should consider is setting up your own site. Not only does having your own website do wonders when it comes to projecting a professional image but, if done well, can also highlight your skills at content creation. This will expand the types of jobs that you can bid on, and act as a hub for any resources that you’d like to link to. It is possible to have a fully functional site set up for only the cost of a domain name, so it can be done before landing any article writing jobs. Or you could use the earnings from that first project to buy your domain.

It takes time and patience to really make money writing articles. It’s something that you need to stick with, in spite of the ever present frustration. You will get that first job and that’s the key to a successful career. How far you go depends on whether you’re looking to become a full-time writer or just boost your pocket change at the end of the month. In the end, it’s all up to

What is this preoccupation we have with vampires? It seems as though one can no longer walk into a bookstore, or simply turn on the television for that matter, without being assailed by images of what looks to be leather clad models with a taste for blood. They’re everywhere. So called creatures of the night have always had a hallowed spot in our imaginations, but none so much so as vampires.

Senior Citizen Care and Assistance

Every health facility wants to hire nurses with a certified degree no matter for which nursing jobs they are applying for. Nursing assistant jobs are not very difficult to find in the US because their demand has increased considerably in the past decade.

An old, wise judge once said to a packed court room, “To be seventy years young is sometimes far more cheerful and hopeful than to be forty years old.” According to recent statistics, there is an estimated six million senior citizens-those aged 60 years and above-in each of the Southeast Asia countries.

Most articles on Senior Citizen care lay stress on the fact that it is an honourable task that you have undertaken, to look after an old person. Few go on to explain what measures you can take to avoid those inevitable moments of depression, craziness, and having the blues, whilst you’re at the job.

Because of improved health and the desire to stay active more and more senior citizens are looking for job opportunities. Certainly because of this the job market for those that are now over 50 is improving.

Quite rightly, a great deal of our senior citizens is going to be worried about what the effects of the new health care reform bill are. It’s true that seniors often use the health care system a lot more often than most young people do, and so they probably have a bigger interest than most.

The retired and the aged peoples have been given a separate nomenclature in the Indian Society called ‘the Senior Citizens’ and the people who are in the age group of post 65 are generally considered as senior citizens.

Are you an active senior adult looking for interesting and fun things to spice up your retirement living? There are many resources available to guide you. If you are a widowed or single older adult, there are several ways for you to meet potential partners with senior matchmaking.

These days, we need a more specialized care than what was provided years ago. Home Health Care can provide you with the level of specialized care you need.

There has been so much research undertaken on the subject of senior citizens health conditions that you would be wise to take action early and follow the advice that is available so that you can increase your chances of enjoying your later years in the best possible health.

Marketing in Counselling: Tips for a Successful Practice

]]>

Professionals in the health and allied industries, including doctors, nurses, psychologists, counsellors, social workers, etc, often work from their own self-employed businesses. In Australia, a considerable section of the industry is self-employed, whilst many other professional counsellors who have not yet become their own bosses, aspire to do so.

In this article, we discuss one the most critical aspects of starting and perpetuating a business: marketing. You will learn how counsellors can gain exposure and build a positive image for their business, whilst developing a good client base – despite their theoretical orientation or experience with self-employment. We hope many of our readers will find this particularly useful to achieve their own business (and personal) New Year resolutions!

Marketing and Counselling

We begin with a basic question: what constitutes marketing? Many counsellors and small to medium business owners believe marketing is simply advertising. This is a HUGE error. Marketing is so much more than just your advertising. Advertising is simply one method, medium or process by which to communicate your product or service to prospective clients.

Marketing however encapsulates:

Strategy; mindset; planning; capital; branding; products and services; product packaging; positioning; pricing; business location; communication; market drivers; business models; innovation; distribution channels; policies and procedures; guarantees; relationship building; sales processes; goals and objectives; business philosophy; and more.

Marketing encapsulates everything that influences the CHOICES of your prospects and clients. And the choices of your prospects and clients relate to:

- their perception of your business, products and image;

- whether they purchase or not;

- whether they continue using or re-use your service;

- whether they refer your service;

- whether they pay;

- how much they are willing to pay;

- whether or not they endorse;

- and much more.

As you can see, there is a lot more to effective marketing than just running an ad. How effectively a company undertakes marketing is the primary determinant of its level of success. Marketing is WITHOUT DOUBT the most leveragable process in your business. It is also the most overlooked, and hence the reason for the majority of business failures. Being a qualified counsellor with great experience and a well-established practice won’t help unless people know about it!

Networking for Exposure

In the counselling industry, one of the most powerful ways to build your business image is networking. Counselling clients can be derived from varied sources, particularly community networks – it is very important that counsellors recognise that factor in order to get the appropriate exposure which their businesses require.

Following are some suggestions that can be helpful:

Talk to your family Doctor and let him or her know what you are planning (or about your recently established business) as you may have to make referrals to him/her. Many counsellors get referrals from Doctors and this is usually the result of establishing a meaningful trust relationship.

Likewise, discuss your plans with your family Pharmacist as he/she may also be able to help building your professional profile.

Talk to your local Naturopath/ Homoeopath/ Physiotherapist/ etc. and suggest an exchange of business cards. Explain that you would like to have someone specific to make referrals to and maybe he/she may care to reciprocate.

Contact Support Groups and Agencies in your area explaining the service that you offer. Maybe you can offer to help them out from time to time, even on a voluntary basis. Voluntary work is an excellent way to gain experience and create links with both the community and other professional in health care industries. You can offer your voluntary work in places such as hospitals, aged care facilities, community centres, etc.

One of the best ways to promote your business is by word of mouth, and one of the most effective ways to ensure that this happens is to run group activities such as Grief and Loss discussion groups.

Building Your Profile

As a counsellor, recognition of your knowledge, experience, qualifications and competence are very important. How can you effectively build a positive profile within your prospects and current clients? That is a pertinent question in a counsellor’s career.

As we’ve cited previously, marketing activities such as networking and volunteering play a major role in building the counsellor’s profile. Primarily, it is a way for the counsellor to validate his/her skills and qualifications throughout working directly with clients and other professionals. Secondarily, maintaining a meaningful trust relationship with other professionals and volunteering will help creating the image of a ‘contributor of the community’, which is a premise for building trust and rapport with prospective clients (a very important aspect of any counselling relationship).

Another effective strategy to build a professional profile is to educate others. Creating and distributing informational flyers, writing a newsletter or eZine, conducting workshops and attending discussion groups are all good examples of such activities. Through this process, counsellors position themselves as specialists in their area – thus, attracting prospective clients. The cited activities are also useful for professional development and efficient in keeping the counsellor up-to-date with industry developments, counselling theory and practice.

Improving Marketing through Delivery

A very common way service professionals achieve a differential position in the market is the interesting – and potentially risky – art of over-delivering (and under-promising). But what exactly is over-delivering? Over-delivering is providing a level of service over and above that expected or anticipated for the service provided.

Over-delivery is providing a level of service beyond what you’ve promised your client in your marketing message. An example of service over-delivery would be to provide your client with a surprise complimentary gift after the first session. The gift may be in the form of a tele-coaching session, a seminar, a book, or perhaps a voucher to the movies or a massage session.

Many astute counsellors actually provide services of other business professionals in order to provide their over-delivery. For example, in the case of a free massage above, you may be able to do a deal with a health spa that is willing to provide a complimentary session to your clients in the anticipation that your client will continue to use their service in the future. This type of arrangement is a powerful win to all parties – You are able to provide your client with an added benefit, the health spa gets a potential long term client for low cost, and your client gets a free massage.

The intention of service over-delivery is to build goodwill with your clients. It’s intended that this goodwill will translate into business benefits for you. Those benefits may be longer client contracts, increased referral and stronger product endorsement.

Generally your perceived gain from over-delivering your service would be greater than your cost to provide the additional benefit to your client. (In the above example your cost is actually zero). Clearly it’s very important that you take into consideration the cost of over-delivery in your financial planning. When engaging in this process, you must be aware of the cost/benefit relationship that will arise from it, ensuring that for every cost involved, there is a mutual benefit.

However, every investment requires a systematic approach in order to be successful – and over-delivering is not different. You’ll need to establish goals in order to measure the outcomes of your efforts, and also to avoid having financial problems due to an ill planned promotion. You can include the following points in your over-delivery strategy:

Establish primary objectives

List each advantage of over-delivering in a priority order. Referrals, networking and partnership possibilities are all reasons for this type of promotion. Your primary objectives will also be parallel to your current position in the market: whether you have just started your business, included a new service, found a new niche, etc.

Find a target market

The main objective of over-delivering is to provide more satisfaction to customers. For this reason, look for groups that can offer a great deal of options for your business, such as networking possibilities. Once you’ve established the right target, you’ll be able to refine your promotion and possibly calculate the most likely outcomes of each interaction.

Choose your gift

Now that you’ve decided what your target market is, you need to decide on what you are going to offer. You may provide extra services of your own, or negotiate with a local service provider to exchange vouchers for referrals. There are many options to choose from, but the most important thing is to ensure that whatever the gift is, it will have some value to the client.

Create protocols

You are going to face a constant trade-off between the amount of extra time you are going to spend with ‘give-aways’ and how much you can actually spend. Creating protocols will help you to balance this equation and ensure you’ll neither go too far on over-delivering, nor too low. It will also give you enough flexibility to deal with various opportunities that may arise throughout the process.

It is important for the counsellor to realize that marketing is an ongoing process – and to ensure that the service delivered is of the highest possible quality. With the appropriate training, the passion to help people and the dedication to get a business practice on its way – your career is likely to become a success!

First the Disclaimer: This is a thought-provoking article that draws upon real world examples, articles, books and websites that are readily available to the public. This article is not intended to offer investment advice. Any actions that you take in the market place should be the result of your own financial education and consultation with a licensed professional. Financial calculations were accomplished using the savings goal calculator found at Bankrate.com unless otherwise indicated.

When I entered the work force, I was offered a retirement plan, actually I was offered two. My employer was transitioning out of defined benefit plans, i.e. pensions and opting into defined contribution plans, i.e. 401ks. Because I was hired during the transition I was given a choice. I could not see working for any employer for 20 years and since the pension as I understood it was all or none, I opted for the 401K. Little did I know, I became part of a phenomenon initiated by the Federal Government in 1974 when it enacted the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).

ERISA was created in the wake of the failure of the Studebaker Corporation in 1963. When Studebaker failed it left a pension that was so badly funded it could not provide benefits for all of its employees. ERISA did two things:

1) It provided regulation of any existing and future pension plans;

2) It provided government insurance of those pension plans in the form of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. ERISA also did something else, it virtually guaranteed a shift away from corporate-sponsored pensions and toward employee-sponsored savings plans. The 401K, intended to be a tax-advantaged benefit to corporate executives, has become the major savings vehicle for retirement for the average worker in America.

Let?s look at that statement. The 401K, intended to be a portable, tax-advantaged benefit to corporate executives, people whose income is generally north of six figures, has become the major savings vehicle for the average American worker, people whose median income is ,326. ( This figure for median income comes from the US Census and the General Accounting Office.)

Assume the average retiree will need cash assets of one million dollars. One million dollars invested at 5% will earn an income of ,000 per year without having to draw down the principle. This goal of one million dollars assumes the 0,000 to 0,000 dollars retirees will have to have set aside to cover health care costs. (CNNMonday February 19, 2008 ?Most Americans Unprepared for Retirement?) Even if a worker earning the median income only desires to live on sixty percent of his or her working income, he would still have to save 5,912 invested at 5% to earn an income of ,796. Add in the amount needed for health care and the goal is still one million dollars. The Savings goal calculator at bankrate.com shows that even if a worker earning the median income managed to save ,000 per year or 21.6% of his gross income, it would take 100 years to reach the estimated million-dollar target needed for a comfortable retirement. In other words this retiree will die of old age while trying to save for retirement. Using bonds or a ?high-yield? savings account with an annual percentage yield of 3.6% will put the average American worker within reach in 77 years 11 months almost beyond the average American?s lifespan. He would still die of old age while trying to save for retirement. Add a 50% employer match and the goal is reached in 34 years and 3 months. Well within the estimated forty year working life of the American worker. But an employer match of 50% is virtually unheard of. A true 50% match of 50 cents per employee dollar invested does not exist. The 401Khelpcenter reviews the common matching plans available to people who save through their 401Ks.

Because amassing the funds necessary for a comfortable retirement is virtually impossible through savings alone, employees must seek vehicles capable of higher returns in order to reach their retirement goals.

In steps the Stock Market.

Pretend for a brief moment that you are an article. Not a physical but a storied one. You can be a force more powerful than anything in the world if you share it. Why would anyone care about you and your story of being an article? Maybe you know good ways to get along with others and have a lot of knowledge about it.

You could tell others about it and share with them what you know in your oral article. Another way to share your article is to write it down. This way it does not go away the minute you are done saying it.

You have to be careful here though. A written article could last forever and it will have your name and reputation on it.

What if someone reads your written article, 50 years from now, and learns how to get along better with others? What if he or she becomes a country leader and a planet wide influence, for the better? Your article can be more influential and a building influence now.

What if one man stops beating the hell out of his wife because his father, before him, did the same thing because he read your article and learned to let his shoulders come down, relax and behave? How would that make you feel?

What if a dictator stopped concentrating on wiping out freedom or religions other than his own and learned to build and help others rather that live on selfish greed and destroy others for reasons he or she does not understand themselves?

Would your writing be worth the effort now?

What if a brilliant scientist had an obnoxious personality and lots of solutions that mankind could use for energy or healing health care read your writing and started to work with others to build and distribute high efficiency energy machines or disease and illness cures because he learned to get along with others? See the power in this?

Are you starting to see the unlimited power of the mighty writing pen or keyboard yet? If you only know plumbing or electricity you could write down solutions in your own words, exclusively, and help others solve problems and save money and time.

If you know how to train dogs to behave better and be better company do you think you could share this knowledge with others for free by writing about it? Think of all the people who would take better care of their pets because they understood them better. They would live better because of you.

Do you know how to pick out good coffees or teas that are appropriate and even healthy for different times and occasions? Most people do not and would be grateful for your shared knowledge?

If you are a good doctor or nurse do you think you could pen down on paper or on Write on the internet and give out a good cure or relief from pain and discomfort every now and then, for free, to help others? We could know more with your help.

If you are a good online internet marketer do you possibly think you could write a paper or long note online, sometimes, and share it with everyone for free? There are many thousands of internet marketing tips to share, that work, so what would it hurt to give something away and help others out once in a while?

If you have something that works, in almost any field, maybe writing it down can give some solutions to others that would benefit them and even you in the long run. Do you think?

Even if you have something that you cannot afford to give away you can write an article about it to let others know that you have come up with a solution.

Although you are selling something you are still providing a valuable service by selling a solution and making the life of someone else a little better.

Are you starting to get the picture a little more yet? Good! Then let us continue. How about solving some or all of the problems of the world? Getting heavy here or are we?

If you wrote about how two or more countries could stop fighting and published it on the net the possibility of a solution would be born. The seed is planted. This is more powerful than a nuclear bomb.

If you started a snowball at the top of the hill that said two very different and very hostile groups to each other could get along and be friends, and how, no one could stop it. Just be careful to believe in the cause being a good one because what you start may happen.

Darwin started the theory that man came from animals and guess what? He changed his mind about it later in life and was unable to stop the snowball theories of evolution.

The lady who was the test case for the Supreme Court decision that abortion, the murder of babies, is legal started one of the fiercest fights of the twentieth and twenty first centuries. She has since completely changed her mind about abortion and now regrets her feelings then.

She can do little or nothing about it now. Or can she? Maybe if she wrote a new paper about it some people would start to feel different about it. Think?

What if Thomas Edison did not invent the incandescent light bulb and just let it pass? Would their be lights today? Yes there would.

Nicolas Tesla invented the tube lights, you likely have in your home now, over a hundred years ago. How about that! However, Nicolas did not care to write about his tube lights.

As you are likely starting to see, the pen and keyboard can be great advertising vehicles for you. You can write about things for your business to advertise them for your business.

You can write about things that get your cause beliefs points out of you and into the open communications world to get your side of the opinion out. You can literally change the world, in time.

Just pick up your pen or set down at your keyboard and monitor and start writing about what you know and feel strongly about. I hope you will choose to be good because once your point gets known you can do nothing to stop it.

So start writing and changing the world right now if you really care about it.
